The primary school Mehlingen is one of two primary schools in the collective municipality Enkenbach-Alsenborn, about 10 km northeast of Kaiserslautern. The school district includes the communities of Sembach and Mehlingen with the districts Baalborn and Fröhnerhof. In the school year 2009/10, about 210 students attend the school. They are educated in 9 classes by 12 teachers.
